Onderdonk and Grosso Induction to Skidmore Athletic Hall of Fame

The Skidmore Hall of Fame dinner honoring Chris and John is Saturday, October 17.   I will be there, but if there is an interest in putting

together a table for SSRC, please let me know and I will make sure that happens on my end here at Skidmore.  The dinner is a fundraising event
for athletics – so there is a charge of $100.

Could we get a response if the club would like to pitch in for partial cost for one table, the rest would be up to the individuals. Please comment if you are interested in going and maybe we could pull something together.

Saratoga Springs Rowing Club Online For First Time

Welcome to the new Saratoga Springs Rowing Club information blog.

We had a club meeting last night where several things were discussed

•  We thank Dan Chernoff for taking care of the SRA Scholarships he did a great job and we have a photo of him handing the awards

• Boathouse Maintenance

It was decided that Saturday, November 7 would be the next work day at the boathouse. We have to fix the ramp to the boathouse, pull the docks in, and bring in all boats located outside.

• Purchases for next season

It was voted on that the docks would last one more year, and we would spend our money on a midweight new or used boat that is in great condition. Richard and Emily are looking into boats for purchase. There is a 12000.00 cap on the cost of the boat.

• Fishing Tournament

Kurt thought a fishing tournament along with SRA would be a great idea. It was voted down due to lack of voluteers available.

• Head of Fish Boat Usage

The doubles and single will be in demand for the head of the fish. All entrees must be sent to Richards email – rkline@shannonrose.com to be compiled. Individuals will have to work out any time conflicts between themselves. This should be done in a good manner or by bribery.
